The Toasty Cats Story

We're Kurgen and Christy, the cosplayers behind Toasty Cat Studios! We've been cosplaying together for 10 years and figured we needed a joint venture and team name. It dawned on me (Kurgen) one cold day when I noticed our cats either basking in sunny windows or curled up by the fireplace - there were all these toasty cats! And thus, Toasty Cat Studios was born.

Most importantly, though, are the cats that inspire our endeavors, and each of their unique stories/how they came to join us.

Meet The Actual Toasty Cats

Dragon

Cat Farm Alumni
Dragon came to us from The Cat Farm, where she had vehemently chosen Christy as her human. She was the runt of her litter.

NTCR Alumni

We initially discovered PJ at an adoption event, while we were fostering and working to re-home a mama cat from our neighborhood. His personality was a good fit for our late cat Gilbert, who needed a companion.

Sampson

Cat Community College Alumni

Sampson was born in our neighborhood and lived under the deck of our townhouse with his mother and siblings until he decided to pursue indoor life. He ultimately chose PJ, and is inseparable from the gentle giant.
