Angel Stocking

This costume has seen a few upgrades and iterations since it was first constructed in 2011. Around 2014-2015, I sewed a petticoat specifically for this costume, made new heart pendants, new wings, and fixed up some general craftsmanship.

Version 1 had wings that glowed/lit up with EL Wire, which was a really neat effect in low light settings, but only lasted so long due to general wear and tear. V1 also boasted glow-in-the-dark hearts, which were resin casted with glow & shimmer powder, but these ended up being a bit heavy and weighing the costume down.

Version 2's wings were re-made out of craft foam sheets, and sprinkled with iridescent AB glitter. V2's hearts are now lightweight plastic heart ornaments painted in pearlescent paint.
